the shanellephant

so, on sunday after watching nachoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, we were driving along. who was i charge of the pod of i..? i was. what song did i choose..? beautiful one. duh.

so, we were clippin along and i look over and what do i see..? the sunlight reflecting off of the water in the weird marsh thingy. i sit there and think to myself..wow. that's so beautiful. of course, as i was thinking about this, i had tuned out the music and such. when i finally came back, what were the first words i hear..? nothing on earth is as beautiful as you. wow. so, i kinda sat there. like, wow. cuz i mean, it was extremely beautiful. and to think, God is more beautiful than EVERYTHING on earth..WOW.

then, yesterday morning i woke up around 5:30. oh. that God. so, i went outside on the porch swing with my Bible. so, i was sitting there enjoying the morning air and the chirping birds(the birds that i wanna strangle every other day..of course) other than being interupted by the rude lady who just HAD to start her freakin semi across the street, it was nice and peaceful.

point of my story- i looked over and saw the juniper bushes and thought wow. those are ridiculously out of control. but then, i sat there and realized that it's their natural beauty. i sat there and realized that pretty much everywhere we go, things are being changed. i mean, i understand that it may be nice on the eyes for a garden to be nicely manicured, but i guess it was nice to just sit back and realize the natural beauty. i think if we all just stop and thank God for what He has given us, just tkae the time to appreciate things..we'd be happier. i know i would.
