so, yesterday i took a little trip on up to buena park. 'twas a joyous occasion. here's the scary coaster entitled boomerang.
while in line, the operator felt the need to keep telling everyone that it takes you 9 million miles up and drops you at great speeds and takes you 9 million miles up again..this time backward. needless to say, my stomach was in my throat. i wouldn't say i'm afraid of heights, just uncomfortable. i could never be a dare devil...

here's the craaazy coasta from a frontal angle.
i also learned that i am four days older than it. right away i got confident and knew i could take it down. i did. you know it. funny how that works.

we also found a wonderful one called silver bullet. amazingly there was practically no line at all. it was by far one of the greatest coasters. although it did push on my intestines quite a bit, i sucked it up, took it like a man and enjoyed myself. so...i'm confused. it's called silver bullet and yet its colors are red and yellow..? odd.
so, i don't really have anything against wooden coasters, but really? does it need to be huge and ridiculous?!? ghostrider was incredibly painful and of course the first one we rode. here's a picture of how ridiculous the first drop is...
don't these people know they are about to freaking die?!? obviously not. we were actually scared. we didn't know the drop would be that intense. the whole ride was intense.
of course, after that, we had to take it down a few notches. i said we should do the hat dance...
i was told no. shame.
we rode the dragon swing instead. jen was asked to be a parent for some little kids. hahaha.
perilous plunge was suggested...no. just no. go up 5000 feet and come STRAIGHT down in a boat with a stupid lap bar into a large puddle and get soaked..no thank you.
we just HAD to go on the wilderness scrambler. it's clearly a pic of me and jen. clearly. i'm the little boy.
here we are again!!
haha. this one. well, when we were walking over to it..jen made a comment about how it's a baby ride. well, we got in line and realized baby ride it was not. you are beyond parallel to the ground AND spinning.
we walked out of line right quick. of course, i had to make fun of her for underestimating the likes of la revolución. funny funny.
all in all, a good time was had. we had just enough money for what we wanted to buy. mostly because knott's doesn't completely rip you off. 3.25 for a burrito..i'll buy it. 12.65 for a burrito...no. take that disneyland!! aaaand...to get in it was, drumroll please, 31.95 how much is disneyland? 57? prolly. the lines weren't bad either. do i recommend knott's? indeed i do. do i recommend perilous plunge? only if you wanna die. oh yeah...pepe-pancho says hi.
